A highly unusual and informative book. May 12, 1998

My wife and I have been going to Bermuda for over fifteen years at least once and frequently twice a year. It is our home away from home and we really love it. We always stay at our Salt Kettle Cottages. There is our annual and close "family" we have acquired over the years through our owner, Hazel Lowe. Besides the overwhelming naturally beautiful scenery, it's people are it's real hidden beauty. As much as we thought we knew Bermuda, we are constantly amazed by Ms. Harriott's incisiveness and sheer depth of knowledge, not just of Bermuda as a stationary entity, but as a constantly changing 'home' in the Atlantic. She must spend inordinate amounts of time constantly researching the island to be able to include the issues of changes that she does, which are invaluable to people like my wife and me who love to keep contact with the Island(s). Ms. Harriott has told us, both with her book and with her updates, more than we could have found out about if we actually lived there. We don't know how she manages to provide such an on-going service at only the one-time cost of the book, but she does. And, we are really indebted to her for her book and her efforts. We are now always up-to-date about our second home and consider her book and follow-up unique in the travel industry in general and to our beautiful Bermuda in particular. Buy her book. You'll be amazed.

I have been going to Bermuda for two years now! It has been four times! I purchased this book for presents and future reference! It is exactly what Bermuda needs. This book will guide you to fascinating hide-away's (islander hang out's) and fabulous savings. Ms. Harriot has done a splendid job of making the island affordable for first timers and repeat visitors like myself! Purchase this book and enjoy!

We fell in love with Bermuda last year. It hurt to leave - and We're going back this fall. Thanks to this book, we'll be able to afford it. Now if we can just get cheap airfare....
